what i find the most annoying about this is that the government segregated K-country. im all for a provincial park user fee...but this is only one park. make it a province wide fee and maybe it wont feel so targeted to Calgarians. becuase i doubt there are many in Edmonton that give two craps about this K-country fee.
And sadly, the William Watson Lodge in K country that makes camping accessible for everyone, that is run by the province at subsidize rates that makes it affordable as well as accessible for people disabilities is no longer accessible with the fee provided by the government. What a huge kick in the stomach for people and families in the disability realm.

Agree. Fees are discriminatory, as you described, but also to folks living on low income, seniors on fixed (government) monies... To access lands is a human "right" (as is nature's right to be treated respectfully...) https://www.childrenandnature.org/resources/outdoors-for-all-access-to-nature-is-a-human-right/?mc_cid=a8749dfac1&mc_eid=0f78268d80
Charging fees to all isn't the answer to stop the destruction of the lands. Education? Teachings of respect and honour?
